A Must Read to Sum Up Obama's Positions in His Own Words...

A sample...

The comprehensive argument against Barack Obama...

Second, he pledges to a Planned Parenthood gathering that the very first thing he’d do as president is sign the Freedom Of Choice Act, which—according to the bill’s own supporters — would abolish bans on partial-birth abortion and parental notification laws nationwide while implementing tax-payer funded abortions. All three positions are wildly unpopular with the vast majority of Americans, yet they are Obama’s top priorities—just ask him:

Gotta love it...Mrs. Robinson...urr ...Mrs. Palin

Can you say campaign volunteer ???

ACORN + Obama money = 105% of Voters Registered in Indianapolis !!

More Voter Registration Shenanigans: Indianapolis Has 105% Of Its Population Registered To Vote

From sayanythingblog...

Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis? You know they do.

According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).
So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light. Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama. Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.
At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

No One Up for Re-Election voted for this "crap sandwich"

Vulnerable House members vote no en masse

Nothing spooks House members like an onslaught of constituent opposition, especially in the fall of an election year.

Sure enough, nearly all the vulnerables opposed the bailout.

The Fix:

It's no coincidence then that of the 205 Members who voted in support of the bill today, there is only one -- Rep. Chris Shays (R-Conn.) -- who finds himself in a difficultreelection race this fall. The list of the 228 "nays" reads like a virtual target list for the two parties.

Good questions to ask...and another reason to not trust MSNBC (as if you needed one)

This from National Review...

Just some quick thoughts...

, shouldn't the MSM look closer at the conflicts of interest in their own newsrooms? I'm not talking liberal bias, but issues like David Gregory's marriage to a senior executive at Fannie and Andrea Mitchell's marriage to Alan Greenspan. I'm sure there are many other conflicts in D.C., from the lowest level in the newsroom on up. For example, did David Gregory ever ask about the financial health of Fannie Mae during all those White House press corps briefings he attended?

Two, I would love to see the internal billing records of the New York Times and find out how many reporter hours were spent in the last year trying to uncover John McCain's alleged relationship with a female lobbyist and compare that to the amount of reporter hours spent covering Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Three, before Congress adjourned for the summer, the biggest issue on the Dems' plate seemed to be the persecution of Karl Rove. How many hours did Dems spend privately debating how to subpoena Rove? How many did they spend talking about the financial markets?

Four: Anybody remember any of the Democratic candidates during the primary debates talking about how we needed to address problems at Fannie or Freddie? I don't.

Must watch video...SHOCKING COVERUP BY DEMOCRATS

MUST WATCH - this is the biggest coverup since Watergate and the Media continues to give the Dems a pass.

Uhhhhhh...I have a bracelet too....

For me the worst part of the debate was Obama sounding like a 3rd grader trying to show how he has a "soldier" bracelet as well. Of course the sad part is Obama had to look down at the name to make sure he remembered it before using the line. How sad that politics has sunken to that level of pandering...

The 2 faces of Joe Biden...Against Clean Coal - For Clean Coal

Campaigning in Pennsylvania coal country on Thursday, the Democratic vice presidential nominee said the government should steer more money to clean coal — a term used to describe a variety of emerging technologies that burn coal for electricity without producing as much pollution.
“I am for clean coal,” he told The Associated Press following a speech in Wilkes-Barre…
The Delaware senator was working a rope line in Maumee, Ohio, on Sept. 17 when a voter asserted that wind and solar energy were “flourishing” in Ohio and then asked Biden why he supported clean coal.
“We’re not supporting clean coal,” Biden replied, putting his hands on the woman’s shoulders. “Guess what? China’s building two every week, two dirty coal plants, and it’s polluting the United States. It’s causing people to die.”

In case you didn't see Biden's original claim that coal plants will only be built in China...follow the link...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rXyTRT-NZg&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/26/nuance-biden-suddenly-decides-hes-all-for-clean-coal/

Barney Frank - New York Times...this says it all

The only thing that has changed, Frank is now the Chairman...

''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."

Woman lets Media have it over "fairness"

NY Times reaches new low in false stories...

The Claim by the New York Times: The New York Times charges that McCain-Palin 2008 campaign manager Rick Davis was paid by Freddie Mac until last month, contrary to previous reporting, as well as statements by this campaign and by Mr. Davis himself.

The Facts: Mr. Davis separated from his consulting firm, Davis Manafort, in 2006. As has been previously reported, Mr. Davis has seen no income from Davis Manafort since 2006. Zero. Mr. Davis has received no salary or compensation since 2006. Mr. Davis has received no profit or partner distributions from that firm on any basis -- weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual -- since 2006. Again, zero. Neither has Mr. Davis received any equity in the firm based on profits derived since his financial separation from Davis Manafort in 2006.

Further, and missing from the Times' reporting, Mr. Davis has never -- never -- been a lobbyist for either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Mr. Davis has not served as a registered lobbyist since 2005.

Washington Posts Attacks McCain for Quoting Washington Post

From the Corner -National Review...

Also read the amazing article first hand in the WaPo, http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2008/09/obamas_fannie_mae_connection.html, they actually dismiss their own story.

Washington Post Faults McCain For Relying On...Washington Post [Byron York]
A number of journalists are trying hard to fit McCain's "Advice" ad into the now-established theme of the McCain campaign employing lies and underhanded tactics. The Obama campaign says the ad is a lie. Writers at Time and the Atlantic have suggested that it has racist overtones, because Franklin Raines is black, and Obama is black, and a photo depicting a generic victim of their alleged financial wrongheadedness is of a white woman. Now, the Washington Post fact checker takes McCain to task for relying on…the Washington Post. Yes, the paper reported in July that Raines had "taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters," and in August called Raines a "member of Mr. Obama's political circle." But hey, the Post says now, that information originally came from the Style section, and it came when a Post reporter was "chatting" with Raines at a photo shoot. Raines apparently said he had gotten, in the reporter's words, "a couple" of calls from the Obama campaign. When the reporter asked what about, Raines said, "Oh, general housing, economy issues." So the reporter wrote that Raines had "taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters." So now, the Post says McCain "is clearly exaggerating wildly in attempting to depict Franklin Raines as a close adviser to Obama on 'housing and mortgage policy.'"But the McCain commercial never called Raines a "close adviser" or a close anything. As far as "housing and mortgage policy," given that the Post had written — and has not retracted — that Raines had discussed "mortgage and housing policy" matters with the Obama campaign, in what sense is that a wild exaggeration?Oh, and by the way, just for good measure, the Post brings up the racial issue, too — noting without any other comment that the McCain ad "attempts to link Obama to Franklin Raines, the former CEO of the bankrupt mortgage giant, Fannie Mae, who also happens to be African-American. It then shows a photograph of an elderly white woman taxpayer who has supposedly been 'stuck with the bill' as a result of the 'extensive financial fraud' at Fannie Mae."
P.S. And now, of course, the Obama campaign is sending out emails quoting the Washington Post charge that McCain is "exaggerating wildly."
P.P.S. A reader reminds me that I should have double-fact-checked the fact-checker. The original Post profile of Raines apparently ran in the paper's Business section, not Style, as the fact-checker said.

Why is this man sleeping comfortably...he is paying NO TAXES.

Why isn't Team McCain coming out swinging over Freddie & Fannie ?

McCain needs to get on the offensive when it comes to Wall Street . Most of the Freddie and Fannie cronies where Dems and our friend Sen. Chris Dodd oversaw much of it in congress.

This from the Politico:

Barack Obama has planned appearances at back-to-back Beverly Hills fundraisers Tuesday evening, with the events on track to raise more than $9 million combined, possibly breaking the single-day fundraising record.
...Much of the money raised at Tuesday’s twin events — a dinner reception at a historic estate, followed by a concert starring headliner Barbra Streisand — will go directly to the Democratic National Committee, while other dollars will be funneled into Obama’s own campaign coffers.

Obama TV Ad - Mocks McCain's War Injuries

http://graphics.boston.com/news/politics/campaign2000/news/McCain_character_loyal_to_a_fault+.shtml

Many of you may have seen Obama's latest attack ad mocking the senator's lack of internet usage. Maybe they should have researched a 2000 article by the Boston Globe which states among other things...

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain's encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He's an avid fan - Ted Williams is his hero - but he can't raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

Bush "Doctrine" - Sorry Charlie not a clear definition...

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/07/obama-clinton-w.html

Contrary to what Charles Gibson thinks, there is not one definition for a "Bush Doctrine". The Annointed one himself, Barry Obama says....

"In a conference call with reporters, Obama said Clinton would continue the "Bush doctrine" of only speaking to leaders of rogue nations if they first meet conditions laid out by the United States. He went on to suggest that being "trapped by a lot of received wisdom" led members of Congress -- including Clinton -- to authorize the war in Iraq."

*****Update******Charles Krauthammer's great article on the subject. He was the original author of the "Bush Doctrine" so he should know !

ABC's editing of Palin is outrageous

Wondering what Sarah Palin said to Charlie Gibson? Well, its not easy to tell. As ABC pimps the interview over their different outlets, Palins answers change. NOT because she gives different answers, but because ABC edits out sentences.

One clear example was her answer to the Pakastan question. On Nightly News, she went right into her answer about the border and protecting US troops and attacking terrorists. On GMA she started that answer by talking about the new President of Pakastan by name and working with him to lead the attacks first.

Just shameful and more reason why no one pays attention to the media anymore.

Hold on to yoru hats...sex ed doesn't even include a man and a woman in the great One's world..

Illinois' Senate Bill 99, introduced on January 29, would amend the state's current Education Code to require that all sexuality education courses be comprehensive and medically accurate, and include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases as well as HIV/AIDS. The new language would place an emphasis on the effectiveness of abstinence but would not include the phrase "abstinence is the expected norm." It would also omit language promoting heterosexual marriage.

Well , maybe there are a few Americans left the MSM hasnt ticked off yet...

See Sarah in Action tonight...CSPAN

Gov. Palin on CSPAN tonight as they replay her 2006 Gov. debate.

Starts at 5:30 central time.

More Polling Results....McCain up 3 in Gallop

From Politico.....

McCain leads Obama 48 percent to 45 percent among registered voters, by Gallup’s measure. McCain has so far earned the same convention bounce as Obama, though at a more rapid pace.

Still have a couple more days of polling before we get the final numbers going into the home stretch. My guess is if Gov. Palin does well on ABC this week that the numbers will be McCain up 3 - 4 pts.

This will set the media into panic mode.

Alaska Commander of National Guard - Craig E Campbell

What an interview...watch the Commander of the Alaskan National Guard blow apart CNN and Campbell Brown's ignorant charges the Governor has nothing to do with commanding the guard...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OLtHdJ_gUk

Women / Pro-Life / Abortion / Democrats and the Media

When will the MSM finally be forced to admit the obvious...

Being "right - wing" or ultra conservative simply means being pro-life. Palin is as all American as it gets but because she is pro-life, liberal NOWist label her as extreme.

When will someone point out that the Republicans have controlled the White House for how long over the past 30 years and Roe v Wade has still not been overturned ?

It has truly become a strawman to hide behind for liberal elitists.

John King / Anderson Cooper

Now I am not a particular fan of either, but after watching all the cables as much as possible over the past week of coverage, these 2 seemed to have an unexpected balance in their comments.

Anderson even said, I do not feel comfortable talking about her family or motherhood...

King several times mentioned that the MSM didnt understand what goes on in "this area" as he circled the Appalachains and mid south on his computer map...

Now on the other hand Campbell Brown....
